Keshav Raychaudhuri

Keshav is a Senior Associate in the firm’s dispute resolution department. His practice is predominantly focused on commercial arbitration (institutional and ad-hoc) and litigation before both, the UAE local courts and the DIFC Courts having amassed over 6 years of experience practicing in the UAE. His areas of practice include real estate, employment, insurance, international trade, and general commercial dispute resolution, including pre-litigation advisory.

He has advised and acted for various business entities including insurance companies, commodity traders and high-net-worth individuals. His recent experiences include representing a South East Asian government-owned entity before the DIFC Courts in enforcing 4 foreign seated arbitral awards; advising various insurance companies in claims (including subrogation claims) arising out of Marine, CAR, and PAR Policies; enforcement of a Singapore seated arbitration award for USD 500 million before the Delhi High Court on behalf of a prominent Japanese pharmaceutical company; acting for a Canadian telecom equipment supplier against a prominent telecom service provider in an ad-hoc arbitration in India; advising the former Managing Director of a prominent football club in a USD 6 million claim before the DIFC Courts initiated by the Dubai arm of a Bahraini Islamic Investment Bank. Very recently Keshav has also been instrumental in enforcing a USD 1.5 million judgment from the High Court of Singapore before the DIFC Courts on behalf of a Chinese trading entity.

Keshav speaks multiple languages and is able to effectively communicate with clients and coordinate multi-jurisdictional proceedings.
